Is it possible to adapt ICE to run on top of Java JMS? My company spent a fortune on Sonic so it would be nice to use this without hacking off the silly people who spent so much money on this.

What would be the benefit of running Ice on top of some other protocol?
Politcal necessity. I can't propose using something that doesn't fit in with $100,000's worth of useless software puchases (namely Sonic ESB, which is essentially a JMS implementation). ICE is actually a better fit to what we need, but the powers that be already bought Sonic without any clue what it's good for.

OK, I understand We can do something like this as a consulting job, but we cannot put useless stuff into Ice for free - we have to charge for such useless stuff
