inetd support?

Does icepackregistery support on demand startup via inetd?

What about icepacknode?

No, inetd is not suitable for Ice servers. Inetd works by spawning new server processes for connection requests. Ice servers accept their own connections. They also dispatch requests in threads, not in separate processes.
