Ice-2.1.1/include permisson miss set on Linux?
Hello,
I have compiled and installed Ice-2.1.1 on Redhat AS3 Linux x86_64 as root, but when I login in as a certain normal user and compile the ice application, it is reported that the Ice header files could not be found. The gcc -I flag is set precisely as -I/opt/Ice-2.1.1/include, after I chmod the responding the files, it is ok. I wonder if it is a bug of install shell or just because of some miss operation.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply; this is indeed a bug: we use "cp -fp" to copy the header files from the source distribution to the installation tree, and this does not always yield the desired permissions.
Thanks,
