RPM installation of IceE

Hi,

I would like to submit an initial version of a new RPM specification file for installing IceE from the three source tarballs (Translator, C++, Java), at the time of writing on OpenSUSE 10.0. Feel free to use the attached file if you find it useful.

Greetings from Berlin!

    Hi,

The RPM specification has been adapted for the new release of IceE 1.1.0. The installation paths have been slightly changed to match the scheme of the standard installation of Ice 3.0.1. On the target OpenSUSE 10.0, auxiliary files for Windows/Visual Studio and intermediate object files are not installed in the demo directory. For IceEJ, the Java build.xml files are patched, so that the code works with JDK 1.4.2 and 1.5.0.

    Comments are very welcome.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Here comes the updated RPM specification for the IceE 1.2.0 release. Compared to the 1.1.0 version, the patch for build.xml has been removed and the RPM specification now fully relies on JDK 1.5.

    Take care,
    Andreas
