DLL access violation

Hi all:
class HelloClient : public Ice::Application
...
HelloClient app;
app.main(argc, argv, "config.client");
The app.main(*) work fine in a isolated program. But when I try it in a Dll, it turn wrong with msg "Unhandled Exception in test.exe(ICE31D.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation"
anyone can help? Thanks!
