node name(s) on multiple servers

I have a general question about ICE 3.0.x

We have created application/adapters using the Ice Grid concepts, we are installing these on individual computers that are not set up for load balancing at this time (not sure how to do it for one) each of these computers are acting independently of each other and are not going to be used for load balancing.

My question is does the parameter: IceGrid.Node.Name=machinegrid_node need to be unique or can it be the same on all of our computers?
