About IcePack and IceGrid

hi,
I'm a new guy of Ice world. I'm learning ICE now.

And in some issues of Connections, you said that the IceGrid
will replace IcePack.

So my question is do I need to know much about
the IcePack in order to learn and use IceGrid?

    IceGrid is a successor to IcePack -- so many of the basic concepts are the same. However, lots of the actual details (such as the configuration) have changed. You do not need to know IcePack in order to learn IceGrid -- however, the newsletter articles on IcePack are still relevant for IceGrid.
