unknown error -1073738824 from using icegrid

I was learning icegrid from running the demo (demo->Icegrid->simple)
after i typed

icegridnode --Ice.Config=config.grid

into console, it showed up

icegridnode: warning:cant add performace counter'\<_Total>\':.\platformInfo.cpp:368:Ice::syscallException:syscall exception: unknown error: -1073738824

My OS is win vista and i tried both 3.1.1 and 3.2 but i got the same exception. So can anyone here help me to sort it out? cheers

Please read the "IceGrid Node Performance Monitoring" section in the WINDOWS_SERVICES.txt file installed in the root directory of your Ice installation on Windows. It explains why you get this warning and how to eliminate it.
