does there any issue tell me how to install ice on linux(rhel4)?

    Hi,

    You can install it using the RPMs provided here. Once installed see the /usr/share/doc/Ice-3.2.1/README file for directions on how to use it.

    Or you can also download the Ice source distribution here and compile Ice yourself (see the INSTALL.LINUX file at the root of the source distrubution for directions on how to compile Ice).

    you must download the rpms and install ice from it.

    there are instructions in the download page, you can also build ice from code, this is documented in the source distribution.
