Ice 3.3 released

ZeroC, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the Internet Communications Engine (Ice), version 3.3.

Highlights of the 3.3 release include:
  • Highly-available IceStorm
  • Non-blocking guarantees for asynchronous operations
  • Scalability improvements in Glacier2
  • Freeze transactional evictor
  • New administrative facility
  • IPv6 and UDP multicast support
  • Updated C# mapping
Noteworthy changes since the beta release including the following:
  • Unicode support in Python
  • New string converter plugin in C++
  • Support for CodeGear C++Builder 2007
  • Support for Windows Server 2008
