Ice 3.3.1 released

ZeroC, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the Internet Communications Engine (Ice), version 3.3.1.

This release offers several improvements and bug fixes, including all of the patches posted since Ice 3.3.0. The following enhancements are included in Ice 3.3.1:
  • Support for serializable Java and .NET types in your Slice definitions
  • Ability to use Ice for Java in an applet and to load IceSSL files, such as keystores, from class path resources
  • Several new sample programs

As a patch release, Ice 3.3.1 maintains binary compatibility with 3.3.0, and we recommend that users upgrade to this release as soon as possible. Upgrade instructions are provided in the release notes. To download the release, please visit the download page.

We have also updated the Eclipse plug-in to improve Slice translation and error reporting.
