why your company use the name "zeroc"?

1. why your company use the name "zeroc"? does it have some internal meaning?

2. why the ice's module use the name "ice, glacier, storm", this name is so
cold, does it have some profunsive　connotation?

    Our first product was Ice (an acronym for the internet communication engine), therefore the company name ZeroC (zero degrees centigrade) was chosen. The other product names Glacier, IceStorm, Freeze and so on continued along the cold theme.

    If you notice a certain commonality in the theme of naming Ice features, it just goes to show that software developers are still inveterate punsters.
