Pass through the router (NAT) and firewall without human intervention.

Hello.
I want a P2P program where an installed application can pass through the router (Table NAT) and firewall.
Looking at the documentation I understood that Glacier2 must support my need, but have not found a tutorial or a description to help me do that.
The document found about it was written in 2007, I do not know if it's still current. I gave up to continue reading when I read that the settings to get past the Firewall should be done manually (if I got it right).

Can anyone guide me on this?
With ZeroC (using java) I get through the firewall and the NAT?
Can show me some tutorial, website or document to help me with that?

Thank you.

    Hi,

Glacier2 is a routing service which allows clients outside the internal network to easily talk to backend Ice servers by going through the routing service. Glacier2 requires to open a port in the firewall to listen to incoming connections from clients outside the internal network. You will find more information on this in the Ice manual here.

If you are instead looking for a hole punching solution, I'm afraid this is something we don't currently support.

    Cheers,
    Benoit.
