deploying icegrid nodes to multiple machines

What is the best way to start/stop/manage icegrid nodes that are deployed to multiple machines? I am able to start each one them manually, but I'm looking for a best-practice solution to manage them from a "master" machine.

    Hi Dennis,

    I would recommend to setup your IceGrid registry(ies) and IceGrid nodes as system daemons on Linux (or Windows services on Windows), and configure them to start automatically with your systems.
