Beware Visual Studio 2015 Update 1
C++ compiler included in Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 has a bug that prevents it from compiling ZeroC Ice generated files.
See: https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/2148128
Note that Microsoft has classified this bug as duplicate but there doesn't seem to be another bug that relates to the same problem

Hi Olivier,
Welcome to our forums!
We released a patched version of Ice 3.6.1 for Windows (Ice-3.6.1-2) that addresses this compatibility problem. See https://doc.zeroc.com/display/Ice36/Ice+3.6.1-1+and+3.6.1-2+for+Windows for details.
All the best,

Thanks ! The patched version worked
However, it still seems like a bug in the C++ compiler, so let's make sure Microsoft fixes the issue in the next update.0
