ZeroC is pleased to announce the beta release of Ice for MATLAB, the latest addition to the Ice product family that enables you to seamlessly integrate MATLAB applications with your existing Ice infrastructure.

Based on Ice for C++ 3.7, Ice for MATLAB provides a complete client-side run time with support for both synchronous and asynchronous invocations, along with a Slice-to-MATLAB compiler that can easily be run from the MATLAB console to streamline your development cycle.

Ice for MATLAB supports MATLAB R2016a or later, and Windows users can download a toolbox to start using it right away.

For more information, including installation instructions, please visit our release notes. In addition, a new chapter of the Ice Manual describes the Slice to MATLAB mapping, and you'll find several sample programs in our GitHub repository.

We encourage you to try out this beta and let us know what you think.

Thank you for your continued support.
