Why the silce do not support underline (_)?
In Cpp the underline can make the code readable.

Please have a look at http://www.zeroc.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84 for a detailed discussion of this topic. In short, underscores are disallowed because Ice requires a separate namespace for the various language mappings.
