Missing msvcp70d dll?

ice14d.dll depends on msvcp70d.dll and msvcr70d.dll but none is delivered with ice (either in mainstream download or PDB bundle).

Do i need them to compile/run in debug mode?

We can only include redistributable files with the installer. See:

In particular: "Note that debug versions of an application are not redistributable and that none of the debug versions of various Visual C++ .NET dynamic-link libraries (DLL) are redistributable."

If you have Visual C++ .NET, you have these debug DLLs installed. And you can't legally distribute applications built with /MDd to computers without the corresponding VC++ installed.
