Ice 1.5.0 released

ZeroC, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the Internet Communications Engine (Ice), version 1.5.0, and the Ice for PHP (IcePHP) extension, version 1.1.1.

Changes in Ice since version 1.4.0 include:
  • A new native implementation of Ice in C#, supported for both .NET and Mono.
  • Several new chapters in the documentation describing Ice for C#.
  • A redesigned IcePack deployment facility.
  • Support for AIX 5.2 with the VisualAge 6.0 C++ compiler.
  • Numerous other improvements and bug fixes.

Only minor changes were made in IcePHP since version 1.1.0 and primarily involve compatibility with the latest releases of Ice and PHP.
