I know lots of people using delphi as there primary develop tool, but until now,ICE does not have delphi port yet.if you want delphi support too, please sign here
I would love to see Ice for Delphi, this would be a very powerful combination and I think there would be a lot of demand if people new this was a possibility.

Delphi is a popular language indeed and it would be a great addition to ICE if ZeroC concedes to the request. My new workplace uses Delphi heavily and I would be very glad to see this addition to the language bindings to ICE.

At present, we do not have any customer with a commercial need for Delphi, that's why it's not on our todo list. If your company needs Ice for Delphi and would like to have a commercial license agreement with us, please contact us at [email protected].

So many Delphi users, but nobody with any commercial project? Again, please contact us if you have a commercial need for Ice for Delphi. We will not implement Ice for Delphi without any commercial customers.

Programming in .NET with Delphi
I think it is also possible to work in .NET version of Delphi with ICE. You can use slice2cs to generete C#, then make from generated code .dll by C# compiler (you can find it in .NET Framework SDK or in new Delphi) and then there have to be no problem to use this assembly in Delphi.

I can only repeat what I wrote before: Without commercial licensees, we cannot port Ice to Delphi.
So many people using ICE who want Delphi but none that have a commercial copy. I can only assume everyone who wants it is using the GPL version of ICE.
The best part of the GPL version is anyone is free to create their own port of delphi.
That's why I started using ICE was because of it's open source nature.

Delphi Support...
I feel It is high time that ICE provides Delphi support ... With CodeGear, Delphi has a very bright future.. it is unfortunate that ICE doesn't support Delphi. In fact as in our new interoperability project, I was thinking of ICE but could not recommend it as there is no Delphi support...
The .NET version of Delphi is indeed supported, as you just compile
the code generated for C# into an assembly. Strictly speaking, there
is not even a need for explicit VB support, as a .NET assembly can
be accessed from any .NET language, as long as it is CLS-compliant
(this is a minimum set of rules to enable compatibility with scripting languages).

I am disappointed that no delphi support from ICE.
