Question about the Ptr cast

DerivedPtr::dynamicCast( baseptr ) may cause network traffic?
How could I avoid it?

    Hi,

    The dynamicCast function does not cause network traffic. You may be thinking of the checkedCast function for proxies, which does make a remote request.
