Split the book up
Right now it's a monster file, and there's a lot to wade through. I would suggest a layout like:
Overview/Introduction/General (whatever you want to call it)
Slice Guide
x language Mapping Guide
Ice Services Guide
Generally mapping one chapter(or a few if they are related) into each book. This would make it a lot easier to print out the sections a particular user would be interested in.
I am pretty impressed that there is so much documentation, and seems well written. That's nice work.

Yes, the book is rather large. But splitting it into chapters would probably not help all that much -- eventually, people inevitably will want to know something that's in another chapter and they end up downloading the lot anyway. And keeping the book as a single file makes life easier for us when it comes do doing releases and such.
But I will gradually move the idea of doing an on-line HTML version up the priority list.
Cheers,
