Question about the Connection#5

hi,
I have read the Connection#5 carefully and was puzzled by the part of the icepack. Although the icepack deployment is very powerful but when the glacier2 and firewall are involved the things seem more complicated.
I try my best to configure the icepack but feel headache and not sure if it will work at all. Hope somebody can help me to clarify it and point out my errors.

This is a pretty complex network architecture. The expected common configuration is that the registry has direct access to the entire internal network. In this type of case something like a VPN would probably work better than having to poke all sorts of holes in your firewall, and trying to secure all the ports.
