How to control ICE socket connection time out parameter?
Hi,all
How to control ICE socket connection time out parameter? I know the tcp parameter '-t'. but it does not work. my client.properties is :
XXXXX.Proxy=XXXXX:tcp -p 20000 -h 172.18.xxx.xxx -t 100
And the ip can not connect sometimes.
if the network is broken down,my client can not return from the connection. How could I set the parameter to support timeout in several hundreds ms? Thx!
My ICE version is 1.3

We use -t all the time, it definitely works. However, Ice 1.3 is quite an old version. Perhaps you should try Ice 2.1.2 first, and if you still have a problem, please provide a small but self-contained example that demonstrates the problem. Note that you can test timeouts also with some of our demos, such as demo/Ice/hello.0
