Export deployment descriptor XML from deployed application

Does ICE provides functionality/command to export the deployment descriptor (in xml format) from an application deployed through ICEgrid admin?

    Hi,

    You should use the IceGridGUI to export an application descriptor to XML (the icegridadmin command line tool doesn't support it).

    Thanks for the reply.

    Could you please guide on how to export an application descriptor to XML from ICEGrid GUI. I am not able to find any options on ICEGrid GUI.

    In the IceGridGUI:
    • Open the application of your choice: File menu -> Open -> Application from Registry
    • The application should show up in a TAB next to the "Live Deployment" tab.
    • Save the application to an XML file: File menu -> Save to File

    You can also use the toolbar buttons instead of going through the menus.
