ICE on IBM power8 with Linux

Hi,
is there someone that has compiled and run Ice on IBM power8 server with Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Suse Enterprise/Ubuntu?

We have planned to buy a server but I would like to know if Ice runs on this system.

    Hi Andrea,

    As you can see on our platforms page, we currently do not support POWER with Linux or any other operating system.

    The Debian maintainers provide Ice packages for powerpc ... you could try them.

    If you'd like us to support your favorite Linux distribution on POWER and provide Ice binaries for this distribution, please send us an email.
